Scott W Disch MPH
Scott’s expertise spans across the healthcare continuum with a focus on medical group operations, technology build and implementation, effective care strategy deployment and successful execution of high performance, value-based arrangements. Scott has a 20-year career where he held positions with significant responsibility for strategy, growth and development and operations of new start-ups, care delivery interventions, and population health management structures.
As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer for High Touch Health, Scott embraces his growth mindset and oversees strategic partnerships that advance our solution outcomes. He is intimately involved in preparing the company for scale and calls upon his vast experience as a strategic consultant, executive leader, and physician whisperer to engage providers, partners, and payers in a mutually-beneficial relationship.
Prior to High Touch Health, Scott was a founding force behind Privia Health’s core delivery model, its strategic investment decisions, data-obsessed culture and their engagement with regional and national providers. As its National Practice Leader, Scott built high performance teams across medical group operations, physician leadership, and population health management, contributing to Privia being built for scale that delivers both results and readiness to handle the shifts in health care payment reform.
Prior to Privia Health, Scott’s time was spent with various healthcare ecosystems involved in leading physician engagement and growth, onboarding and implementation, compensation and funds flow arrangements, network relationships, medical office park management, and strategic initiative growth like behavioral health, cardiac care, and key surgical divisions. He worked in both fee-for-service and full capitation models during this time, and successfully managed medical group operations to a positive EBITDA.
Scott is a national speaker and consultant with multiple firms and business associations, and enjoys teaching students at Georgetown University as Adjunct Faculty. Scott’s holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Amherst, and a Bachelors in HealthCare Administration from St. Thomas University. He has authored multiple articles for trade associations and journals and has built customized educational curriculum for physicians.

Mark A Woodburn MD
Dr. Mark Woodburn is a board certified family physician in Pittsburgh, PA and is currently a partner in a large independent physician group. Besides being a board member he has also served executive management roles like CMIO and treasurer. He has extensive experience in transitioning independent physician groups successfully to risk based reimbursement models. Realizing the unique efforts it takes to remain independent, he has helped lead his organization to be on the forefront of quality care and shared savings, and has been instrumental in the development and deployment of risk adjustment operational model. As the risk-adjusted reimbursement models have grown and become more prevalent, using a proprietary algorithm Dr. Woodburn has also helped other physician groups, in organization wide implementation standardizing clinical data management, to capture as well as code Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) to reflect the actual acuity of their patient populations in a more enhanced & robust fashion.

Prem Kalam
Prem Kalam is the co-founder and CEO of High Touch Health. Prem brings a proven track record of driving business development and organizational growth by co-creation of innovative solutions with clients and partners creating breakthrough value. With a focus on creating great client experiences, Prem has passionately worked with healthcare organizations to enable their growth strategy, physician engagement, performance improvement and population health initiatives. Prior to co-founding High Touch Health, Prem served in different roles with Wipro, HCL, Anthelio Health (part of Atos) and IKS Health.

Edward M Miller MD FACP
Edward Miller, MD, FACP, recently retired as president of MedStar Physician Partners and Vice President and Medical Director of MedStar Medical Group. Miller oversaw nearly 140 employed physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners in over 40 physician offices across Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Prior to his position with MedStar Physician Partners, Miller was the president of the medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and president of Metropolitan Medical Associates, a 20-doctor multispecialty practice. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore and HelixCare (now MedStar Physician Partners).
During his tenure with MedStar, Miller helped design and build offices, recruit and hire physicians and on-board physicians. He implemented a full conversion to electronic records and was instrumental in developing training that allowed all of the physicians to qualify for the Federal Meaningful Use Program. Twenty-three of his offices were NCQA level three certified as Medical Homes. He helped develop quality reports for his physicians including the NCQA Diabetes Recognition Program, DOQ-it Preventive Medicine Metrics and NCQA Heart Stroke Metrics. Sixty-three of his doctors qualified for the NCQA Diabetes Recognition Program.
Miller has also been involved with the development and implementation of a patient portal.
Miller received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and his medical degree from the University of Maryland School Of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency with the University of Maryland Hospital Center, and specializes in internal medicine. Miller is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
A member of several medical societies, Miller was the chair of MedStar’s Ambulatory Best Practices Committee, which developed ambulatory clinical practice guidelines and coordinated ambulatory audits in all primary care settings for the system. He was also a member of MedStar’s Quality, Safety and Professional Affairs committee. Miller currently is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at The University of Maryland Medical System.
Currently he is the Chief Medical Officer of CannaPharmacy, Inc and the Compassionate Care Research Institute with concentration on Cannabis education and research.

Wendy Whittington MD MMM
Dr. Wendy Whittington is a physician executive, passionate about changing the way that healthcare is provided for the better. She is a board-certified pediatrician and practiced in both the inpatient and outpatient settings for 20 years. Dr. Whittington began the transition into the information technology and business sides of healthcare as a physician champion for EHR adoption in the 1990’s and has held various positions in the acute care and industry settings including CMIO, CIO and CMO. Inspired by the innovative spirit at Carnegie Mellon University where she earned a Masters of Medical Management degree and remains involved as adjunct faculty, Dr. Whittington has gone on to advise numerous healthcare start-ups and is an active member of several boards and advisory boards.
